You may have heard only a few of the benefits that this spice has, but the list of its benefits has no end.
In India people can’t imagine their kitchen without cumin. You should start consuming it every day because like we mentioned there are numerous benefits from it such as:
Cough and Colds: It can eliminate the phlegm in the chest and thoracic region because it contains antiseptic components. With that it will also eliminate cough and it will prevent colds. All you need to do is to boil some cumin seeds in a glass of water and to drink it.
Insomnia: Sleeping disorders can ruin your everyday life. To put an end to sleeping disorders just consume a mixture of half a teaspoon roasted cumin powder and a mashed banana every day after dinner.
Intestinal Worms: Add 15 grams of cumin in 400ml water and you should boil until only 100ml of the liquid is left. Drink 20-40ml, every morning and evening.
Vomiting: Regularly usage of cumin can treat chronic vomiting. Just make yourself a mixture of tablespoon of fine powder of roasted cumin and honey. Consume it after meals.
Loose Motion (Diarrhea): Add 5 grams of roasted and ground cumin in a glass of yogurt, stir well and consume it and you will put an end to diarrhea.
Indigestion: Mix cumin with rock salt, black pepper, dry ginger and pepper in equal amounts, and until you get a fine powder grind the mixture. In a glass fresh of water add a tablespoon of this powder and after meals, consume it.
Anemia: Because cumin has high amount of iron it will prevent anemia and it will solve the issues with iron deficiency. Just make sure you consume it regularly especially pregnant women.
Acidity: Take a pinch of raw cumin and keep into your mouth for a short time. Then, swallow it. To prepare a powerful powder just combine equal amounts of cumin, coriander and sugar. With a glass of water every morning consume 2 teaspoons of this powder.
Diabetes: One of the simplest remedies for people suffering from diabetes. Just add ground cumin in a glass of water and consume it twice every day.
Liver Detox: If you want to improve the function of your liver by detoxifying it, start consuming cumin regularly.
Constipation: Mix equal amounts of cumin, black pepper, dry ginger and curry powder. As an addition to rice, consume this powder with a combination with butter and salt.
Stomach-ache and pains in the body: You want to put an end to pains in your body? Just mix 3g of fine ground cumin powder in a glass of lukewarm water and consume it twice, daily.
