I suggest baked pineapple! You haven’t tried it?! I didn’t either until yesterday… But there’s a first time for everything. We liked it very much. For dessert, with champagne.
- pineapple 1 pc
- For the sauce
- butter 50g
- 1-2 tbsp. sugar
- ground ginger 1 tsp.
- cognac or dark rum 2-3 tbsp.
Step by step recipe :
We take the pineapple, wash and dry.
Cut into two halves along with the leaves.
Then cut half in half again, and also with the leaves!
Cut off the core, it is not needed.
Carefully separate the pulp from the skin, cut into slices and move them slightly in different directions. Place on a baking tray lined with paper.
Mix all the sauce and pour it on the pineapple slices.
Put it in a heated to 180° oven for 20-30 minutes. 3-4 minutes under a grill at the end.
