• ½ lemon

7. TURMERIC KEFIR
• 1 gallon Filtered or Spring Water
• 1 cup of fresh Turmeric or ⅓ cup dried whole root
• ½ cup Water Kefir Grains
• 1 cup of brown sugar
• 1 cup of fresh Ginger
First, you need to peel the ginger and turmeric and cut it roughly. Then pour the water into the pan, place it on the stove and bring to a boil. Put ginger and turmeric in a pot. Reduce the temperature, cover the pot and cook for an hour. When finished, put in a refrigerator. When it cools, pour the ginger and turmeric liquid into a large gallon glass jar and then add the sugar and mix until it dissolves. Finally, add the water kefir grains.
